Editor:
Chuxia Deng, PhD, Dean and Chair Professor, Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Macau, Macau SAR, China

IJBS has published the following two special issues on SARS-CoV-2 Pandemics in 2020/2021, and all the papers in the special issues have been highly cited.

The global battle against SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19 (The first special issue on Coronavirus disease) https://www.ijbs.com/v16i10

The continued global battle against SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19 (The second special issue on Coronavirus disease) https://www.ijbs.com/v17i6

With the continuation of SARS-CoV-2 pandemics, we would like to organize the third special issue on the following topics (but not limited to): 1) SARS-CoV-2 variants and their impacts on the pandemic; 2) Therapies for COVID-19; 3) Effects of Covid-19 vaccines on emerging variants; 4) Long-term effects of the COVID-19 outbreak on patients and on frontline clinicians' mental health; 5) Long term effects of covid infection and/or efficacy of vaccine on emerging variants.

Both research and review articles are welcome. If you are interested, please email Dr. Deng () a tentative title of the manuscript and brief abstract. We would like to have this issue in press in March/April of 2022.

Authors should prepare their manuscripts in MS Word according to https://www.ijbs.com/ms/author and submit them at https://www.ijbs.com/ms/submit?subgroup=covid (mark "Special Issue on SARS-CoV-2 Pandemics" in the "Suggested reviewers" field to identify the paper).
